    Wiring Differences - Programmable Thermostat
I just purchased a Hunter 4415C Programmable Thermostat to replace the old manual thermostat that was installed when our house was built. The old thermostat is wired as follows:
    W - White Wire
    Y - Blue Wire
    G - Green Wire
    R - Red Wire
There are also (2) additional wires from the wall that are not connected to anything. 1 yellow wire, and 1 brown wire.

The new thermostat has the following wiring conections
    G
RC - Jumper Wire to RH
    RH
    Y/O
    W/B
    Y1

I'm not sure why on the old thermostat the blue wire is connected to Y instead of the yellow wire. Also, not sure if the current wire connected to Y (blue wire) would b connceted to Y/O or Y1? Can someone please help me with where my 4 wires on the old thermostat should be connected on the new one, and if there is any need to connect the 2 un-used wires into the new thermostat? Thanks for the help!
