Water dispenser is working but there is no ice in the ice bucket. You can hear it making noise but no ice

My sears kenmore side by side model 51582200 ice maker is over filling with water and runs into the ice bucket creating a big block of ice. Is there a way to control the amount of water that flows into the ice tray?

Yes, when you remove the cover on the ice maker you will see a screw for adjusting the amount of water. It's clearly marked. Adjust a little at the time until you get the right amount of water.
