I recently framed a wall in my home that is 18 ft in length and 10 ft in height. I framed the studs 14 in. apart rather than 16in. Will this cause any later problems when the drywall is installed.

Too late now. You will have to cut one foot off each sheet of drywall to make joints fall on a studs. Drywall is normally installed horizontally on residential buildings. Waste of work and material. If wall is to be insulated with batt insulation you will have to compress insulation.
