    Heater thermostat
    I change the thermostat today because the old one do not have power.
    I change it and it work until it auto turn off and never turn on again. I try to look for the fuse. I do not no where it located. Any body can tell me where I the fuse located?

    There usually is no fuse located in a thermostat. What type of heating system is this ? If its forced air system such as central heat then the fuse would be outside on the main unit usually on a circuit board and it may be red.. 10a rating.

    I have a floor unit under the house. I chance the thermostat yesterday. The fan seam come on until I turn it off. Then I nothing can turn on again. Yesterday was Saturday and very hard to get somebody.Today is Sunday and it is very cold. I'm been thinking of replacing the transformer. WHat do you think?

    I really think you need to get a electric meter and sound out the problem before you spend a lot of money for parts and it still will not work.

    I find out that each time I take the thermostat out and put it in again , the heather work. Do you think it is defected thermostat?

    When you say that the heater works what exactly do you mean? It sounds like it may not be hooked up right if it does work for only one cycle.

    Thanks for advice. I find out that the transformer was loosed, so I screwed it in. Now it works perfectly. Thanks again for all the advice.
