Student loan, 17yrs with parents bad credit
My parents have bad credit, and I am only 27 I am graduating in may 2010 and should start in 2010 sept. but I need to find a way to pay and I don't know how?

Is there any way for me to pay for school? I tried fafsa and the estimate I got from them was 16,000 but my school is 24000 without room and board?

Is there hope or do I have to change schools?

    Thank you!

Work, go to school part time ? At 27 you should be supporting yourself anyway

Often we have to merely go to the schools we can afford. In today's economny money and loans are tight, and school costs keep going up.

Have you asked any of the schools about work progras

If there is a community college in your area? You may want to try getting finiceal aid there and then work part time to pay for books etc
Sometimes it is better to start at a smaller school and then transfer when you can afford it. In our area we have a small community college and then after 2 years you can transfer or take advance classes on line with a university that is partnerd with the community college it's a wonderful program, don't know if your area has it or not but it is worth looking into
