1 year later my hardwood floors have starting popping, why would this be?
The exterior temp is colder than ever before we are in the teens and 20's for the first time since I've owned the home. Does anyone have any advice as to why the floors might be popping now? They are true hardwoods, with a wood subfloor, 4" planks, handscraped. Thanks

Your house is too dry. Adjust the humidity if you have one on your furnace or a table-top model. If you don't have one, I recommend getting on it quick.

When the temps is at that level, you should maintain about 35%, higher as the temps goes up. Your throat and nose will appreciate proper levels of humidity too.
