    No hot water
We had a deep freeze in Texas and now I have no hot water throughout the house. Cold water works fine? Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Does any waterl come out of the hot water faucet at all or is it just cold water out of the hot water faucet?

Possibly your hot water lines froze and need thawed out.

If you have water coming out of the hot water faucet then your hot water heater element failed.

    Hi all:

Mygirlsdad77... I thought Boston was cold at 10 and 12F... Is it really that cold there?

Pats... we need to know how you heat your hot water... OK? Do you have a GAS or an ELECTRIC water heater? Do you have a tankless coil or an indirect fired storage tank at the boiler? Let us know more here...

I have an electric water heater and not sure about coil or indirect, water does trickle out ever so slightly from the hot water faucet.

It was, but yesterday we got back up above zero, and today, its about thirty above with no wind, didn't even wear a coat out today. Great weather for pulling the girls behind the four wheeler on sleds.
