My two felonies are in GA; they are state felonies, both are over 7 yrs old. The charge: simple possession cocaine. I have talked to an attorney who suggested I attempt a pardon. I am elgible in January 2011. What do you think my chances will be of getting a pardon from Marietta GA?

It depends on LOTS of things, not the least of which is the quality of your lawyer. It'll help if you've gone to school, or started a family, or stayed employed at one place, or started a charity, or you're doing good works for the community.

However, the TWO felony's is going to be a problem... If it was just ONE, you could certainly argue that you learned from your experience... But, you can't use that argument anymore. Without that argument, you have an uphill battle.

Your chances?? What the hell do I know, but I'd say 2 to 1 against you. Those aren't bad odds, especially considering that if you succeed, life will be rosy once again.
