I would like to know all the sizes of commonly used drainage pipes in terms of diameter.
What are you asking? The size drain for each fixture? The entire drainage layout for the house?
Most secondary fixtures such as the shower, sinks and tub use 2" I(D pipes while a toilet and the house sewer main will take 4" ID pipes. Is this what you're asking? Tom
Basically, yes... need to know if kitchen drain pipe is same... 2" or larger.
2" for drain today; depending on age of house may be 1 1/2" and in some very old houses ,
1 1/4". P trap is 1 1/4" or 1 1/2".
