Early 90's movie where lady locks mom in basement because mom is monster
Hi. I'm trying to remember the name of this horror movie that I think came out in the early 90's or late 80's where at the beginning, this lady goes to a gypsy/fortune teller and the fortune teller gives her a Moon and Star pendant and tells her that her soul mate will have the same Moon and Star pendant somewhere. A little later, the lady finds this guy that has the Moon and Star pendant and falls for him. All I remember next is that the two of them lock the lady's mom in the basement of this mansion and then the mom turns into this big White(?) monster that breaks out the roof of the house and I think the two run away or something. I wish I knew more or at least who played in it, but I can't remember, sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
