What kind of dog do I have?
Hey, everyone! My boyfriend and I just adopted this puppy and the shelter had no idea what breed he was. They told us blue pit bull at the time... but my brother has a blue pit bull puppy and the shape is just nothing alike. We later found out the shelter had NO clue what breed he is.

    Please help us? Thanks!

Hope you can help us figure out what kind of breed Dollar is! (Dollar is the beautiful puppy pictured above :])

    How big is it?
Looks almost like a miniature pincer.

I thought it looked like a MinPin too, but the coloring is wrong.

That should put his size in perspective... that's my boyfriends foot right behind dollar. He's VERY little, as you can see.

It looks like a blue colour to me.. MinPins can come in that colour.

Oh, wow! Thank you... that does look a lot like Dollar. I thought MinPins had the two colors, but some of those pictures look just like him. Thank you.

I know what kind of puppy you have...
A REALLY cute one! Congratulations on your new baby.
I believe the best part of adopting mixed breed puppy, is wondering what you might have when they grow up.
I adopted Nikki when she was 6 weeks (or younger) from a high-kill shelter.
She was 4.1 pounds and they told me she was part boxer (?) and will probably be under 20 lbs. My vet laughed and said "rottie mix" and guessed 30 lbs. At 6 months, she revised her prediction to 20 pounds because Nikki was still so little. Nikki is now 45lbs. (and perfect!)

I agree with Sariss, looks like a Miniature Pinscher.
The head looks a little too heavy though so there may be something else mixed in there but I'm not sure what.

How old did they say he was?
It might be a little easier to tell when he gets a bit older.

Whatever he is, he's adorable. What a sweet little face.

Congrats on your new family member and thank you for adopting from a shelter, you just saved a life and that's the most precious gift you can give. :)
