    Frigidaire furnace
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Got quotes from 8 contrators on replacement of 20 year old Colsolidated builders grade gas furnace.
Here is what I have to choose from one contractor is fairly reputable and cheaper:

Frigidaire 95+ Afue (2 stage) - 3,300 installed. I get the tax credit and local utility 300 cash. Fg7tc100dvc

Rheem Classic 80 afue super quiet 2 stage - 1,900 installed.

Rheem "Cube" builders grade - 1,000 installed.

ANy thoughts to help me make the decision. I plan on staying the home for about five years.

If you buy the Frigidaire I would also buy a ten year parts and labor warranty policy.

If you furnace sits in the hallway of your house or if you have a return air grill close to where you sleep or watch TV, the quite Rheem might be worth the difference.
Otherwise I would go with the $1,000 Rheem if they are a good company.
