    Dental crowns
In Nov 2009, I had 6 crowns - canine to canine - put in and 4 veneers on the premolars and molars. Now a space has grown in between my two front teeth. It catches food, makes my speech lispy and looks bad. I suspect the space is caused because of ill fitting crowns/veneers. I have about 3 loose contacts between the teeth. What can I do? Is this a case of malpractice if the dentist won't redo them?

Have you gone back to the dentist to see what he says?

Don't be thinking malpractice until you actually find out what he says.

Definitely go back to the dentist and have him/her take a look. You had some major cosmetic work done, I am sure he/she will do whatever he/she can to make things right.
Be sure you aren't being aggressive with your brushing, make sure you brush down towards the teeth, don't scrub back and forth, don't brush in circles, and don't bang the brush up against the gums. Floss gently making sure your floss is in a tight "C" shape against the tooth and go under the gums.
