I recently wrapped an outside faucet in insulation and duct tape and came home to find it had been blown off the faucet and wet. What could have happened to make this occur?

Who knows, jecorzine. Do you have some mischievous children around that would do that, a nasty neighbour ? You didn't wrap it tight enough ?

Funny question. Sorry, but I don't see how you would expect us to know the answer to this.

Where do you live and is this a frost proof spigot? Wrapping an outside spigot with insulation provides very marginal improvement to freezing
