    Its 27 degrees out and my thermostat is set at 70 dgrees. Why won't it shut off?
    Shouldn't the ac unit eventually reach the desired setting and shut off?

    My ac unit won't cut off. Its 27 degrees out and I have the thermostat set on 70 degrees. It warms the house to 70 but keeps running. There is ice around my outside unit too. What do you recommend?
