We have been trying to have a baby for 3 years, what's wrong with me?
Me & my husband have been trying to have a baby for over 3 years, we have been having unprotected sex the whole time that we have been together. Not ONCE have I gotten pregnant! There was one time I went 7 months without having a period, I went to the dr, they gave me birth control pills, and a month later my periods came back. Since then I have had regular periods. I even had a laparoscopy! They only found a little bit of endometriosis, they removed it. I was told my tubes are not blocked, no problems, that's what my dr said. I do have cysts though, I've had them since I was 15. I don't know why I'm not getting pregnant!? Its so frustrateing! I'm only 20 years old, but I am married and we want to start family. Please give me some advice, I'm desperate!

You should really be enjoying your life as you are still very young, not thinking about having baby. And I think you will most certainly fall pregnant when the time is right. To have been trying for 3 years is a long time as again you are still young , it should at most take 1 year to a year and a few months. So may be stop trying and think about which movie to go watch next or start planning your 21st birthday. I don't mean to be blunt but this time in your life is so much fun and believe me a baby is so life changing, they do demand all your attention. So be selfish now and do everything you love doing, so when baby does come "eventually" you can absolutely give them all you time and undivided attention.

Since it has been a few years of trying, it would be wise to visit your doctor again and ask about some initial fertility testing for both you and your husband. Your periods may be regular now, but they can also determine if you are actually ovulating as well. A period does not automatically mean ovulation has occurred.
Your partner will start with a sperm analysis to determine if there are any concerns with development, movement, and number.
