1. Im in L2 & have applied for EAD thru' post on Dec 23, 2009. I have not taken any receipt from the poastal service. Now I'm bit concerned whether my appln have reached the concerned off. I couln't track the same.

2. What is the duration taken for issuing the EAD from the time the appln has been recvd by the off.

3. How will we get information that the appln is under process.

4. If I do apply for a new EAD what steps should b taken so that the tracking is easier.

It takes about 90 days... if you don't receive any notice for biometrics then follow up after 90 days.

I applied for EAD last Dec 1, 2009 and I received a notice (receipt) last Dec 18, 2009... How long should I wait?

You should receive the card within 90 days.
