Hey thanks for this site I was wondering I got a friend who is real sad at her house she is closed to 18 but her parents will not let her leave what can the girl do... I know this girl very well her life there is not good for her health... I am afaraid if she is not taken out of this home of hers she will kill herself please tell me what to do email please thank you very much and my name is wish you knew I don't want anyone to get in trouble :(

I'm not 100% positive but from what the situation sounds like, it could be emotional harm that's causing the suicidal thoughts. I'm currently in a similar situation with my father but I'm luckly not suicidal anymore. What helped me out was a close friend and teacher who I talked to about my problems. My teacher told the state and they got involved and it started working out for the better. But Singlegirl is your friend talking to someone like a teacher or a therapist who is aware of the situation. If not I think you should tell someone about her suicidal thoughts, even if she isn't planning on killing herself now if she is going to do it at all its no joke she needs phycological help.
