What kind of sole and tread do you have on your shoes? Do you wear boots or shoes?

I'm a liability investigator and work on slip/falls all the time. I am amazed by the poor choices people make when it comes to footwear.

Get a pair of snow shoes, they sell them at almost any sporting goods store, Gander Mountain, Pro Bass shops, etc.

They sell grippers that slide over your shoes to give better traction.

This site sells them, but you can probably find them cheaper in walmart or a sporting good store.

If you are sliding on slippery pavement I would suggest you do what I do - walk in the snow, off the sidewalk, off the road. It certainly ruins your boots but it keeps you from falling.
