Have an imperial electric 115v motor with 6 leads numbered 1-6. need to connect it to a square d reversing drum switch which has 6 connections.

There is so little to go on n your post, that we can be of leittle help. There are so many different types of motors. The 1-6 labels are non standard. Usually for an induction motor, there are labels like T6 etc.

Induction, PSC, capacitor start, capacitor run are just some types of motors.

Even HP and if the motor is dual voltage would help. Does the motor have an internal thermal switch? An internal centrfugal switch? What's the application? Is it the normal application? Model numbers?

Do you own a multimeter?
