    My header tank is empty
    My hot water is running really slow but my cold water seems OK, I looked into the header tank and its almost empty what do I do?

    Can you post a pic of the "header tank". Im curious to see what type of set up you have. Normally low flow of hot water is caused by a restriction in the water heater supply or distribution piping. Very common for nipples or unions on top of the water heater to become clogged.

    Are you in the UK? And is this a open storage tank? What ,exactly, feeds this " header tank"? Is this apartments or flats? Let me know, Tom

    Hi Guys...

    Here is some pictures of a header tank with a hot water maker in the "airing cupboard"... just fun to post pic. A bit different from here, but also similar.

    I'm thinking the float mechanism or the shutoff into the header tank could be stopped up with sediment/debris, etc...

    Will wait for leanne-ebanks to follow up here...
