My hot water is running really slow but my cold water seems OK, I looked into the header tank and its almost empty what do I do?
Can you post a pic of the "header tank". Im curious to see what type of set up you have. Normally low flow of hot water is caused by a restriction in the water heater supply or distribution piping. Very common for nipples or unions on top of the water heater to become clogged.
"header tank" is this a water heater tank or something else
Are you in the UK? And is this a open storage tank? What ,exactly, feeds this " header tank"? Is this apartments or flats? Let me know, TomQuote:

I'm thinking the float mechanism or the shutoff into the header tank could be stopped up with sediment/debris, etc...
