I had a previous miscarriage and am pregnant again. Should I be nervous?
I had a miscarriage May 09. My husband and I have just conceived again Dec 09 and I'm waiting for the military doctors to call back to make an appointment, but I'm really nervous that I may miscarry again. Is there any cautions or certain things I should do? I started prenatals as of yesterday when finding out the exciting news.

There's no guarantees, but the less stress and worry you put on yourself the better.

Eat healthy, rest and exercise, like walking or swimming (check with your doctor first)..

I wish you the best of luck.

Do you, or the doctors, know what caused the last miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage in April 09 and got pregnant 3 months later and I will admit that I was really nervous because losing your unborn kid is really hard and I was a wreck for a long time and I just kept telling myself if its meant to be things will go OK. Sometimes having a miscarriage is your bodys way of saying that the baby was not going to be healthy enough. And I am not churchy at all but that knowledge really helped me get over and accept that this new pregnancy is a good thing and now I am 21 weeks and finding out what we will be having later this week.
Best wishes to you, Good luck and relax and trust your instincts
