Does anyone have a manual for a Scott 18hp 46 in deck?
I just acquired a ridiong mower with no model number on the back or under seat and the belt just fell off the transmission pulley and I need a diagram on how to put a new one on and get a belt number since there are none on the belt now. Trying to replace parts that are old or out of shape for a better running machine but I need a manual! Is there anyone who can help?
    Thanks
    Jen

    Hi,
I have the manual local and can email it if your email account will accept a 6 Meg attachment. Additionally, it may still be available at: Free lawn and garden product owners manuals, user guides & how-to instructions | ManualsOnline
But I cannot say for sure(it went to Deere and they change things constantly.)
Also, you can see the belt routing at my opebycrigby link in my signature and parts can be looked up at JDParts at:
    John Deere - Parts Catalog
And typing in "1846" without the quotes. It will Sabre, but one is orange and the other green.
    Peace,
    Clarke

    Hi,
Check your Inbox, or Junk Mail, depending on your settings. Rather than giving out your email address publicly, click on my screen name on my post and it will let you send a private message to me here or at my personal email address; both are enabled and have been used.
The file is pdf and exceeds 6M. My email explains it.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Hello, Is housing considered the body of the mower?

    Hi,
Since I gave you the breakdown, please be courteous to give the number of the housing. The frame is a constructed channel framewith sides, front and back. The closest thing I would consider as a body is th Seat Deck Platform, part #341712-898 on the Rear Chassis pages.
    Peace,
    Clarke
PS or do you speak of the deck housing?

    Hi,
I will look for the owners manual for you. It may be available; it is new enough! However here is the correct parts breakdown:
    http://www.outdoordistributors.com/p...PARTS-LIST.pdf

    Clarke
PS And lo and behold it is available at:
    http://dl.owneriq.net/c/ccd969e0-093...2e809e0d72.pdf
Which has the parts breakdown, also!
