OK... I'm am pretty new to this site and all the pregnancy terminology, so please bear with me. I have a pretty regular cycle (27-28 day), and so I kind of recognize all the signs of ovulation. So I figure I ovulated on the 21st of Dec. I had intercourse on the 24th thinking I was in the safe zone. On the 30th I notice spotting (just a wipe), and again on the 31st (only a wipe). I'm due for my cycle to begin on the 4th tomorrow, but I'm wondering if it will come, just because of the fact that I have never had spotting that stopped. Usually if I spot, I begin later that day. Is it possible that I could become pregnant 3 DPO?

It's possible you ovulated later than you thought you did. You will have to wait to see if your period comes. If you do not get a period, wait a week and test using first morning urine.
