In a circle with a radius of 4 centimeters, what is the number of radians in the central angle that intercepts an arc of 8 centimeters?

    1. Find the circumference.

    2. Find the ratio of the arc to the circumference. (It should be the same as the ratio of the angle within that sector with the arc and the total angle of the circle, that is 360 degrees).

    3. Now, that ratio is equal to:

    (as described in 2.)

    4. Convert the angle from degrees to radians.
