There are 2 white wires connected to a yellow and an orange is that the wires I would connect my white from the light and there are two black wires I am assuming that the black from my light kit would go to them?

Does your light kit have a blue, white and ground?
Your fan should have a spare white and blue, red, or striped wire for light. Your light should have a white and blue or black wire.
