What is wrong when myF250 deisel when it leaks oil on the right side of the oil pan
I have a Ford F250 deisel and it is leaking oil underneath by the oil pan on the drivers side of the pan. When it is turned off it leaks, but when it is running it spirts it out. Is there a hose in that area, or is it major?

The oil filter is on the driver's side. It may be leaking oil and it's dripping down on the pan, etc. Sometimes, the old filter gasket sticks to the block; then, the gasket on the new filter can't seal properly. This happens when the mechanic is not concentrating on what he's doing. Check the filter out first--it may even just need tightening.
