Load bearing wall or not ?
I'm planning to open up a wall between my kitchen & living room. The wall is perpendicular to my rafters in which I have a gable roof. Is this wall a load bearing wall or not ?

    Thanks

If the roof is supported by clear span trusses, interior walls are not usually load bearing. If your roof is supported by rafters, and with the info provided, I would guess that it is load bearing, but it is possible it isn't. You need to provide more info to get a sure answer. A complete floor plan of that section of the house would greatly help. One of the experts here may be able to help you better.
