On the Pioneer vsx519v, how do I connect my XBOX with the included (old) 5 plug cord?
I am having trouble connecting my XBOX 360 (one of the older models with the 5 plug cord) to my Pioneer vsx519v receiver. I am using my hdmi ins for my ps3 and cable box. I have tried almost every combination in the back of the receiver, but I cannot get any visual/audio of my xbox (through the receiver) on my television (connected to the receiver via hdmi). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you should be able to connect the XBox to the TV, then run fiber optic to the receiver from the XBox.

Otherwise if you are running everything through the receiver, you need to run component off the receiver to the TV. If I recall correctly, the 519 does not convert the component signal (your 3 video and 2 audio cables) to HDMI.
