He seems insatiable, prowls his bowl and the kitchen, etc. and this is new behavior.
I'm wondering if "intentionally overdosing him," feeding him all he wants until he vomits, will help? He's a Tibetan terrier and is slightly overweight.

You are kidding right? Please tell me you aren't going to do this. Would you do this to your child? Maybe you shouldn't own a dog if you plan on doing this!

Wow. No, doing that will only make him extremely overweight.

Go to the vet and get him checked over. Get his thyroid checked.
