    Pluming - Bathroom
I would like to install a bathroom upstairs. However, I do not have easy access to any 3 inch drain pipe for my toilet. I would need to travel 25 feet or so laterally, but probably wouldn't have enough drop to complete the task. I could, however, get to a 2 in drain pipe directly below my new bathroom location. Any suggestions? Any creative solutions? Any new technology?

Hey nooki,  Three inches is the lowest you can drop in diameter to hook up a toilet.  A lateral run of 25 feet would have fall of a little over three inches.  Run a outside vent up ftom a tee when you stub out for the lavatory and tie the tub to the lavatory drain line and your bathroom group will be vented.  More questions? Click on back.  Regards Tom
