I just purchased a used kenmore coldspot, it was working and I just put it in my house and now it does not seem to be cooling, does it take a long time to re cool, it has been unplugged for 2 weeks.

Give it at least overnight to cool down for starters. If it was working before it should work for you provided it was properly moved meaning it was not banged around or laid down during the move. Those 2 things can ultimately make a fridge toast.
