Hi, I've just moved in to a house that has several sets of downlights.
A couple of sets are quite dim sometimes, but other times are normally bright (there is no adjustment on the switch).
Any ideas what might be wrong?

If the lights blink briefly, then could be an appliance sharing the same circuit, such as a refrigerator.

If they stay dim for a prolonged period, could be a loose connection someplace, defective switch, defective circuit breaker, etc.
