This girl hit me and I want to press charges

Generally you go to the police and report an assault. But before you do so, I suggest you explain to us the details. Since you posted this in the Teens forum, I suspect there is a lot more to this and that the police might be less willing to prosecute a juvenile dispute.

this girl randomly ca,e up to me and hit me and none of the socailworkers/threapistt broke it up and she hurt my head real bad

I will explain more I was eating dinner in the dinning room and this grl that has started with me a couple times came up and hit me and we got in a huge fight .also she said she was going to kill me

Dining Room? Was this in school or what? Did you report it to the school authorities? Were there witnesses that this was an unprovoked attack?

However, if you have a history with this girl, its even less likely the police will deal with this.

From all your posts, I'm getting that you are in some sort of group home or social services situation. Also it doesn't appear that this was a total random action, since you have had issues with her before.

But your first step here is to talk to the people that run the facility you are in. Its possible ne or the other of you can be transferred to another facility.

I am in a partical hosptital for anxiety and depression but it was my last day today and no the only wittness where the kids the adult walked right out of the room

Well since you are going home, I would tend to just drop it. But, I would choose a different facility if you need treatment again.

The only other thing I can suggest is to talk to your parents or guardians. The facility should have not let this happen.

Your are right my mother said she going to call up and complain about the program . The girl threated to kill me yesterday and then beats me up today. I didn't hit back I only pulled her hair

First if the "residents" of this facility have mental and emotional issues, not always are they considered responsible for their actions, depending on what type of hospital this is.

I get hit occasionally by residents of a specific hospital wing.

Next what is the hospital rules on staff breaking up fights, do any staff stop, or do they call security first?

Next how bad was the head hurt, did specific medical care have to be done.

Assuming you are a minor ( first how old are you) did you notify your parents or guardians, who are the ones who will have to file a police report.

I'm 15 and now they didn't call security they had some old man that was a social worker breack it up and my head was hurt vey badly bursices all over and I had to go to the ER too

That's good. The ER record is proof that something happened.

I still don't think the police will be interested, but your parents may have a suit against the hospital. I would suggest they contact an attorney.
