    How to write a thesis statement?
    Hey I need to know how to write a thesis can you guys please help? Im writing a thesis statement on the book "A thousand splendid suns" and my topic is "The struggle of women in Afghanistan". My three points are male dominance, low social status of women, and education.

    Hi, first of all, the thesis should be the main point of an essay. What you are arguing for. It should somehow include what you will be arguing for in the bosy paragraphs, but lead into the thesis. It should be the climax of the introduction in a sense. But don't tell everything because you need the readers attention for the rest of the essay. Every Opening sentence of the body should introduce the subject and the paragraph it self should argue for the subject, thus arguing for the thesis... The conclusion should clear up any unsolved uncertainties.. Some times its good to cut and paste sentences... Remember, the introduction and the conclusion are very important, but if your arguments in the body are not strong, it brings your essay down...
