In fl when you get divorced it is required to take a children first in divorce class. What if the other parent doesn't take it?

You may have to go to court and have the judge specificly order them to take the class, and if they don't they can be held in contempt.

Also since this class ( and it is a very good class that should be taken) the parent who does not, may lose rights to custody or visits until it is done but that is up to the judge
