Constant cramps and pains in stomach that turn into diarreha
I am a 30 year old male and have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel syndrome. I have had a rang of tests from endoscopies to colonoscopies. I suffer from constant pains in stomach that can flare up at any time. Most of the time, I still only feel 70% because there is always a constant unpleasantness in my stomach. The thing that bothers my the most is when I have these atacks that come on at any time. These attacks start with toilet pains in the stomach. I go to the toilet and after a half an hour of very painful cramps, I pass solid hard stools. After another 10 minutes or so these stools get softer until the point to where I have gushing diarehha. These cramps are relieved shortly after every motion, however after thinking that the worst has passed, I still return to the toilet another 2 or 3 times after the waves of pains come back. I am wondering if anyone else has these symptoms and if there is anything that could possibly cause these attacks other than IBS. I am sick to death of this and am wondering if there is anything that I could try to assist me with this as it is effecting my life.

I feel for you I've beeb there and do that. But they also took out by gallbladder and it did not help. You know how the system is supposed to work everything should move slowly and push the food down well mine is spasming and I get too much bile also in my stomach and that when it starts as you said here. For me its been since 2001. I'm still at it.
Do you take nexium or something like that. Also they gave me wahol is not used for that but it helps bind stuff in your stomach. God it felt wonderful. My stomach hurt right under the ribs in the middle and sometimes on the right side. I hope this isn't what you're going through. When it gets bad I take a valium to relax my gi tract. Good Luck!
