    No room for copper "T"
I need to install a copper "T" on a supply line, but I can't move the two halves of the tubing far enough apart to insert the "T". Was planning to use a compression fitting, but I could solder. The "T" will lead to a valve, be reduced, then go to the icemaker. Any suggestions?

When that happens I spring the two pipes apart and insert one pipe in the fitting after slipping the compression nuts on. I then guide the other pipe end into the other side of the fitting. If the pipes are too long I cut one of them back a touch. Good luck, Tom
