I have romex installed in a conduit for about an 8ft run. Is this OK?
I upgraded my garage to add a couple of receptacles. The bulk of the wire is running through the rafters of my basement, but I enclosed about the last 8-10ft of romex NM-2 in 1" PVC conduit for mainly protection since this was going to be exposed. Now I have some concerns after reading that I should not have done this.

Also, I have a 220v line for a range that I was going to use conduit length of 2ft to once again protect the wire running to the junction box. Any problem with that length?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Romex is OK in conduit as long as it satisfies the fill requirements.

Exposed to what? If exposed means running outside then wire rated for wet locations must be used.

Nothing exposed to wet conditions. Thanks!
