    Do I have to file a tax return on $1,000
    If I made$12,000 on one job and $1,000 on another job. Do I have to file that $1,000 on my taxes or can I just wait and amend it next year

    You are required to report all income made during the year. Will you get W2s or 1099s for the income?

    WHY would you want to wait? Filing late and NOT paying the taxes on time almost ALWAYS results in late-payment fines and interest due.

    Claim it up front, pay the taxes and move on!
