    Taking care of.keloids?
So, I got my cartlige pierced two months ago. I got it pierced with a needle not a gun. Last month I noticed a small, grayish bump forming above the back entrance for my earing. Of course, me being me, I did not think anything of it. For about a week my mom kept saying "there is something wrong with you ear" and "the skin is puffing out!" I didn't bother looking at it because I thought it was just the small little bump. Then the other day I looked at it because my mother would not stop bothering me about it. It was about medium sized and just pure skin. My cousin, who had at least 10 piercings on her ears, told me that it was a keloid. She told me to put neosporin and emu oil on it to clean it. Afterwards she put some neosporin on it and it turned to yellowish white color. I woke up the next morning at the keloid had gone down in size. Then that night, it popped on its own without me even knowing. I went to check on it and it was bleeding and what not. Then a few hours after I accidentally scratched it and it was open again to I went to check on it and it had some crusty-ish white small bump next to it and blood.
There was some type of stuff... it was red and goopy-ish and my mom thought it may have been some type of tissue so I left it alone. It was not coming out of the open it was just there.
So my question is are keloid supposed to pop? Are they supposed to pop on there own? How should I keep this clean? So far I have been putting neosporin on it and when I sleep a band-aid. Please help!
    P.S.
Im sorry for the long story but I feel it is important to my case!

I am going through the same thing with my nose peircing. They will pop on their own, it is part of the healing process. It will probably never really go away, there will always be a scar but it will stop growing. I am doing a sea salt soak everyday and cleaning it with bactine twice daily. It will help to dry it out. It seems like it is doing OK right now, but today has the red tissue you described. I had a keloid before and it did the same thing. It will just take some time.
