    Water not hot enough
    Rheem 315 electric heater water is not ashot as it was (luke warm) is it my element or thermostat and can I replace it myself.Cold Pete.

    Several things could caused this to happen.
    1) a element that quit working
    2) a dip tube that broke
    3) Thermostat set too low.
    And I'd check them out in that order.
