I am on probation in S.C. and have had NO violations, this is the first. I received a public intoxication charge. The police tried to call several people to come get me to no avail. They took me to jail. What will happen ? Is this automatically reported to my probation officer ?

Well it is suppose to be "automaticly" reported, since YOU are suppose to tell them ASAP.

If you don't, not telling them will be a much larger and worst violation than merely getting caught drunk.
