    State of Florida eviction laws
Hello! How can I remove my boy-friend from my house? We have lived together for the past 5 years at the same address. He has paid the utilities and done some painting around the house. I have asked him to leave for the past 90 days and he is still here. This is in Fl.

You are the owner of the house? If so, you need to evict him according to the laws of Florida. Since he has no lease, he is considered a month to month tenant. Florida allows for a 15 day notice of terimination of tenancy for a month to month tenant.

Prepare a letter stating that he needs to vacate the premises. Given the time of year, I would give him until Jan 15. If he refuses to vacate by then you go to your local housing court and file for an eviction order. The court will order a hearing so he can show cause why he shouldn't be evicted. Since I don't see a reason for him to stay the judge should grant the order giving him a few days to move out. If he still doesn't leave then you hire a sheriff to physically remove him.
