How long does a tongue piercing hurt
Hey, I have many different piercings including snakebites, angelbites, both side of my nose, septum, ears, bellybutton, and now my tongue.
I'm on my third day of getting it done, and this day has by far been the worst for swelling. I just wanted to ask how long (if you have had one,) did yours take for the swelling to go down quite a bit? I have taken advil, sucked on ice, rinsed with mouthwash, mixed with water (as instructed to do.), and been very clean about it. I also wanted to know how many people have had their tongue bruise after they had it done?

It has been very interesting to read your postings on tongue piercing, my daughter has announced she is getting it done today, 4 days prior to a huge family funeral for a fearfull nana. Apart from not being able to speak clearly until swelling goes down I wonder if she will be able to hit the high notes in church, also once piercing is done does it also deminish brain activity?? The spelling and grammar on this site is amazing. Hang loose folks.
