I'm trying to find the name of a book that I read like 7 years ago and I'm 19 now. It was about a guy trying to climb a mountain like his father had tried to accomplish before him but died trying. I can remember him and another guy getting very close to the summit but the other one falls off the mountain. The main character reaches the summit however and accomplishes what his goal was.
