    How to connect a switch to my circuit
    I want to connect a switch to my circuit such that the LEDs remain off while the battery charging continues.the working involves automatic supply to the LEDs through the battery during power cut and no supply during powers on.the transformer needs to be connected to the main supply in order to keep the LEDs off and battery charging continuing.please help me!

    I can't even understand your post. Can you use simple IF... THEN statements and reference components in the schematic if you have to.

    If another LED has to be added call it LED13 and give it a function. e.g. I'd like an new LED added, labeled LED14 to be a "charging indicator" or whatever.
