How do I get rid of My Web Search
I wish to remove My Web Search from my computer. When I open up the internet I should have ATTmyyahoo. Instead I have My Web Search. I have tried various ways to remove it by removing it from tools and removing it from my control board, but it is still there.

    Hi,
I ran into that aehile back and it can br exasperating. It is embedded in the Registry in multiple places. You will have to bring up your version of the Registry editor and do a search for it, removing and continuing on to the next.
Upsetting to me was it came with somrthing else and asked if I wanted it installws, but would not take No for an answer.
    Peace,
    Clarke

You can usually uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs option, and then change your home page back to ATT. It is really annoying that some programs include this with it.

You know, I thought there was a tool out there for that, but I wasn't sure. I was thinking about suggesting Revo or Perfect uninstaller.

Usually if you type in Google and the name of what looking for with the word "removal", you will come up with links

Some are tools, some are manual removal but watch out for some that have the manual removal - they put a link to download software before the instructions to get you to purchase their software (so always best to go through whole page to see exactly what is there) and let the person may be helping not to download the software if they don't want to and just go to the manual removal instructions
