When I get water or ice from my side by side frigidiare. It is slow to stop. Any suggestions.

Water dispenser quit working, water to door was OK, disconnected water line at bottom of door and blew compresed air into water outlet on door, blew out a blob of lint, can't believe since I replaced filter when required. Servive man said he same experience before. Try same before calling GE repair, can save lots of $.
