Locus is points that share a property. A circle is the locus of points from which the distance to the center is a given value, the radius. So if they say what is the locus of point A at a 3 cm radius, the locus would be a circle with a radius of three. If they give you two different line segments parallel to each other, lines AB and BC, the locus of points equidistant from each would be a parallel line in the center. So if lines AB and CD are 6 cm apart, you would draw a dashed-line in the center, making it 3cm from both AB and CD.
